This requires some quick finger work when things get a bit hectic.ĭifferent guns handle differently: with a shotgun you can keep loading shells constantly with pistols you'll need to switch mags, for which you'll need to get the timing right when in the heat of battle (or alternate reloads between pistols if you're using two). You can't pick something up while you're already holding a gun, so you need to drop or holster your weapons before you can grab another one or ammo to put in it. Side triggers beam ammo and health into your hand to keep you replenished and revitalised. Weapons are easy to use: guns reload easily via the press of the menu button, and if you drop them then they'll even return to your holster in a flash. Initial zombies are easy enough to deal with, but you soon find you're being attacked by angry spider-like zeds too. A couple of serrated knives on your back and a pistol on your holster are all you need. Hopefully this is a quality fix for this problem.This first level sees you gently eased into the zombie-filled environment. ![]() So I ended up just uninstalling Geforce Experience as well and booted up Killing Floor Incursion.the game worked perfectly and I was actually able to get about an hour and maybe 20mins of game time before I actually manually stopped playing the game!! Before these tweaks, I would only get about 20-30mins of game time before I would get a crash. I also was reading that certain people were having instances of Nvidia Geforce Experience causing problems with their Rift- in fact, before I upgraded to Win10 from a Win7 rig, I was also having problems with Geforce Experience (and Malwarebytes for that matter) in that it was causing serious FPS drops within games (specifically MGSV). With my Oculus Rift, I'm actually not even using any of my on-board USB slots as those are being supplied by the InaTek 5-port USB panel I installed on my PCI-e slot- either way I uninstalled those problem drivers. To be clear, I am not even using the Asmedia 3.1 slots only the 3.0 slots.so, I ended up just uninstalling both those drivers and finding a forum that directed me towards a different Asmedia USB3.0 specifically so that I could at least have my front panel operational. Now I'm not sure if they have anything to do with on-board USB3.0 as well, but in my circumstance it was generated to the Asmedia USB3.1 driver that I had installed. More specifically, the error was related to the Asmedia USB3.1 drivers associated with boards that support them. So I looked in forums everywhere about this error related to the Oculus Rift and found out that I could very well have been in a specific group of people who would experience this: After some research, it looks like it may have come down to ASUS motherboards.specifically for me the ASUS Maximus IX Hero Z270 board- although I suppose it would be happening with any recent ASUS boards. However, I was also recently getting BSOD- SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_HANDLER errors just randomly, but ONLY when I was playing VR games- I've heard people would get this error on loop whenever they boot their PC and going into Windows it would just loop this error this was not happening to me, it was only happening when I was playing VR. With this game in particular I was getting UE4 crashes that would go straight to a crash report and then close the game. I was able to play the game for well over an hour last night with absolutely NO crashes. ![]() Update: Well I think I may have figured out a fix (knock on wood). Is there any way to get a refund on this? Does anyone else get this when playing? Again, this happens every VR session after about 20mins or so. So I've been trying to play Killing Floor Incursion, but every 20mins or so the game crashes from an Unreal Engine 4 crash.
